Gloucester Twp Municipal Building and Veterans Memorial Park

The Gloucester Twp Municipal Building and Veterans Memorial Park are located at 1261 Chews Landing Rd, Clementon, NJ 08021. The municipal building houses local town governmnet offices and our police department.

The Gloucester Township Police Department

The Gloucester Township Police Department responds to nearly 60,000 calls for service each year; this is an average of 5,000 calls per month. Our department consists of over 134 full-time sworn law enforcement officers, 38 special law enforcement officers, 18 telecommunicators, and 13 civilian employees.

The Department is commanded by Chief David J. Harkins, who has been a police officer in Gloucester Township since 1995. Under the oversight of Chief Harkins, the police department is split into three divisions: the Operations Division, Administrative Services Division, and the Community Services Division. Each division is commanded by a Captain of Police. There are two Deputy Chiefs of Police, who assist Chief Harkins in overall agency operations.

Veterans Park Track on Chews Landing Rd. is a 1/2 mile when you also walk or run the loop. To equal a mile, you would need to run or walk around the park 2 times, including the loop.

The Rental fee is $30 for GT Residents and $60 for nonresidents per time slot.
