The Commercial real estate market continues to work through a reset with conditions across asset classes and regions shifting toward stabilization. With that in sight, REMAX Commercial® agents from the U.S., Canada, and multiple international markets gathered in Seattle for the 2026 REMAX Global Commercial Symposium in late April, leaning into execution, collaboration and growth strategies. Conversations in Seattle addressed both network growth – REMAX® added more than 2,000 commercial agents last year, with annual sales and lease volume increasing by more than $2 billion – and the broader market forces shaping the business. Agents also explored emerging technologies, including MAXReferSM, a referral system to connect brokers and drive deals, MAXEngageSM, a loyalty and rewards program that builds business through challenges, and MAXTech Commercial, a fully connected platform to help brokers close more deals in less time, designed to support commercial brokers well into the future. As first-time attendee Evelia Marquez with REMAX Gold in Sacramento, California, noted, “These events help us stay current with trends and reinforce that REMAX Commercial is investing in us.” A Global Market Perspective Market sentiment among attendees was noticeably more optimistic than in recent years, with agents from around the world reporting stronger pipelines, increased deal flow, and renewed momentum as buyers and sellers adjust to the current interest rate environment and reset their pricing expectations. A recurring conference theme was the importance of relationships, local expertise and creative problem-solving in navigating complex transactions. Artificial intelligence also emerged as a major area of interest, with brokers exploring practical applications to improve efficiency, marketing and research while remaining focused on responsible use. REMAX Commercial Executive Director Kristie Kimnach noted that today’s commercial success requires more intentional decision-making from both owners and tenants. “Industrial and well-located retail are still performing well, while office continues to be more challenging in many markets,” Kimnach said. “Owners can’t take a ‘build it and they will come’ approach anymore. They have to be more thoughtful about location, pricing and how space actually functions – especially with the flight to quality we’re seeing.” These insights shaped Symposium discussions around valuation, leasing strategy, adaptive reuse and how agents deliver value in an increasingly complex environment. Damon Conrad, who oversees REMAX Commercial for REMAX Canada, agrees. “We’re coming out of a period of uncertainty to a period of more stabilization in the commercial market in Canada,” Conrad said. “And while it’s slower than we originally hoped, we’re definitely moving into a more positive environment. Events like the Symposium give agents the opportunity to compare what they’re seeing in their local markets, share strategies and better position themselves and their clients as the conditions continue to evolve.” Agent Perspective: Why These Conversations Matter Now For agents navigating the same macro pressures as their peers, the Global REMAX Commercial Symposium proved invaluable. “It’s very fulfilling to speak with other REMAX commercial agents,” said John Sanderson of REMAX Peak to Peak in Winter Park, Colorado. “To understand that they have the same trials and tribulations that I have. They also fully share the challenges that they faced and the successes that they’ve earned.” “One idea from this event could easily translate into seven figures over time,” noted Nathan Bragg of REMAX Time in Rancho Cucamonga, California, highlighting the ROI of shared insight. Jason Hepton with REMAX Hawaii in Honolulu said, “I get good feedback on ideas that work and helpful suggestions on things I can follow up on in the future.” Common takeaways included: Identifying and owning specific niches rather than broad marketing Using AI to streamline prospecting and

Mark Hulsey, a top commercial broker and team leader with REMAX Results – Commercial Group in Minneapolis, is used to competing at the highest levels of his profession. His team is currently ranked No. 2 among medium teams in the United States and worldwide, and he is well-known across the REMAX network as a trusted advisor, speaker, and mentor. But on April 20, Marathon Monday, the only goal Hulsey was focused on was crossing the finish line at the Boston Marathon with his race partner, Moses “Mo” Cooper. “This is a very blessed opportunity for me – to use my skill sets and build this friendship with Mo and his family,” Hulsey says. “It’s taking something I’m passionate about and giving it a much bigger purpose.” Cooper, who lives with cerebral palsy and other physical and mental limitations, and Hulsey met through Minnesota My Team Triumph, a nonprofit that pairs volunteer runners with people who have disabilities and special needs. .custom_image_carousel_sec_outer .custom_image_carousel_sec_inner .card_slider_item .heading { font-family:Montserrat;font-weight:900;font-size:1.5625rem;line-height:1.875rem;letter-spacing:0.03em;color:var(–awb-custom_color_4); } .custom_image_carousel_sec_outer .custom_image_carousel_sec_inner .card_slider_item .content { font-family:Open Sans;font-weight:400;font-size:0.875rem;line-height:1.3125rem;letter-spacing:0.03em;color:var(–awb-custom_color_4); } jQuery(document).ready(function() { var swiper = new Swiper(“#image_carousel_swiper_69f40d25b8f8c”, { slidesPerView: 1.2, spaceBetween: 17, navigation: { nextEl: “#ic-swiper-button-next-69f40d25b8f8c”, prevEl: “#ic-swiper-button-prev-69f40d25b8f8c”, }, scrollbar: { el: “#ic-swiper-scrollbar-69f40d25b8f8c”, hide: false, }, breakpoints: { 768: { slidesPerView: 2.2, spaceBetween: 25, }, 1960: { slidesPerView: 3.2, spaceBetween: 25, }, }, }); }) Just as real estate has pushed Hulsey to compete, grow and reach higher levels of success, running has done the same. Hulsey took up the sport three years ago – at age 60 – and quickly found himself drawn to adaptive racing. “I’m a competitive runner on an international level,” Hulsey says. “The first time I saw volunteers pushing disabled runners in wheelchairs, I knew immediately – that’s what I want to do.” But not just any marathon would do. Hulsey set his sights on the Boston Marathon and committed to making it happen with Cooper. What followed was a two-year journey. “It’s been a two-year process – nearly two years of working toward this specific initiative to take a disabled, special-needs family to a major marathon,” he says. Competing as Team Flash Mo, the pair had to qualify as an official Adaptive Duo Team, meeting the same qualifying standards as solo runners in their division – no adjusted times. “Qualifying was very difficult,” Hulsey says. “I needed to run a 3:50 marathon or better, so I trained hard for a long time.” The pair officially qualified at Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth, Minnesota, in June 2025, finishing in 3 hours and 18 minutes. “When we finished Grandma’s and I knew we had met the qualifying time for Boston, that was a remarkable moment,” Hulsey says. What’s just as remarkable, on April 20, 2026, Team Flash Mo delivered again. At the Boston Marathon, they crossed the finish line in 3:24:00, an average pace of 7:47 per mile. Still, Hulsey insists the experience had little to do with times or medals. “This is about volunteerism,” he says. “It’s about serving another person. When we serve others, we realize there’s nothing more rewarding or enriching in life than that opportunity.” Along the streets of Boston, that spirit was on full display. “People were yelling and screaming for Mo,” Hulsey says. “There’s nothing cooler

When it comes to selling homes, REMAX agents continue to set the pace for the industry. REMAX agents outsell other agents by more than 2 to 1 at large brokerages confirmed by three major U.S. industry rankings.1 This marks the 18th consecutive year REMAX agents have led the industry in productivity. According to the 2026 RealTrends Verified Best Brokerages rankings, when measured by transaction sides, REMAX agents averaged 11.7 sides in 2025, compared to just 5.4 sides for agents at competing brokerages.2 Of the 1,267 qualifying firms that closed at least 500 transaction sides in 2025, REMAX represented 289 brokerages – or 23%. “REMAX agents are clearly the best choice for buyers and sellers,” said REMAX President Chris Lim. “In an industry that can be challenging and confusing, especially in recent years, REMAX agents have continued to show their value to clients. The productivity of REMAX agents reflects the confidence clients place in them to guide some of life’s biggest decisions.” Other industry surveys also confirm what RealTrends Verified data shows. T360 Mega 1000, powered by T3 Sixty, is the industry’s most comprehensive ranking of the largest residential real estate brokerages in the U.S., based on 2025 performance of sales volume, transaction sides and agent counts. Similarly, RISMedia’s Power Broker survey is the industry’s longest-running preeminent ranking by closed residential sales volume and transaction sides. Based on an online survey of residential real estate brokerages in the U.S., the 2026 Top 1,000 Power Brokers are selected and ranked according to residential sales volume in 2025 – of which, 207 of the 1,000 brokerages in the list are REMAX brokerages. In addition to leading the industry in productivity,3 REMAX agents are voted the most trusted real estate brand in the U.S. year after year.4 That recognition reflects a brand built around agent success – from innovative technology tools announced at the annual REMAX R4® conference to powerful industry connections that elevate the consumer experience. Recent developments include new product introductions, a commitment to transparency through Zillow Preview, and continued recognition of REMAX leaders across multiple industry rankings. Breaking into real estate is rarely about a single moment. But for four REMAX agents recognized on REALTOR® Magazine’s 2026 30 Under 30 list, one pivotal decision helped accelerate everything else that followed. Selected from more than 280 applicants, Jordan Mulrooney, Rodolfo Garcia, Elli Jennings and Maddie Mittelsteadt share the “one move” that reshaped how they built their businesses, offering practical lessons for other agents navigating the industry. Jordan Mulrooney, REMAX Success | Visalia, California The move: “Hiring a transaction coordinator and realizing that being your authentic self is the best form of marketing.” For Mulrooney, professional growth came down to a simple realization: He couldn’t do everything himself and still build the career – and personal life – he wanted. “It was really about needing more time,” he says. “Time with my clients, but also time with my wife and son.” Why it mattered: “At first, hiring a transaction coordinator felt like removing myself from the transaction, but instead, it allowed me to show up more for my clients instead of focusing on paperwork.” By letting go, Mulrooney actually gained more. Delegating administrative tasks allowed him to focus on what mattered most – building deeper relationships. It also gave him the freedom to show up more authentically, helping him connect more naturally within his community. “People work with you because they love you,” he says. “Being authentic in my marketing changed everything.” The takeaway: “Don’t hire a transaction coordinator until you truly understand the paperwork – but once you do, it can change your business. And market yourself as you actually are.” Mulrooney encourages agents to share their real selves. “If you don’t wear a suit, don’t wear one,” he says. “Wear the hat. Be yourself. People respond to that – and they’ll love you for it.” Rodolfo Garcia, REMAX Service First | Milwaukee, Wisconsin The move: “Transitioning from working primarily with buyers to focusing on sellers and off-market multifamily investment properties.” Garcia realized that where he was spending most of his time wasn’t helping him reach his goals – it was holding him back. “I realized I was capping my growth,” he says. “Instead of building inventory and long-term relationships, I was always in pursuit mode.” Why it mattered: “Focusing on sellers and investors allowed me to help clients build long-term wealth, not just complete transactions.” By shifting his focus to seller relationships and investment properties, Garcia sharpened the skills needed to build a more consistent and scalable business – while helping more people in the process. “I’ve been blessed to help different siblings and even multiple generations within the same family,” he says. “That only happens when you’re thinking beyond individual transactions.” The takeaway: “Don’t be afraid to trade short-term comfort for long-term growth.” Garcia recommends finding a niche, building relationships, and leaning into expertise. “Those areas require more prospecting and patience,” he says, “but that’s where sustainable, scalable business comes from – and where you can truly advise clients on growth planning, not just buying or selling.” Elli Jennings, REMAX Real Estate Center | Ames, Iowa The move: “Committing to outwork the average – especially early on – and backing it up with consistent visibility and effort.” Licensed at just 18 years old, Jennings knew people’s perception could be a challenge. “I was young. I sounded young. I looked young,” she says. “I didn’t have the experience yet, so I had to let the work speak for itself.” That meant saying yes, pushing herself beyond her comfort zone – mentally and physically – expanding her reach beyond her hometown, and consistently putting herself out there on

“It’s a rare price point for our community.” The property known as Elk Point, located near Gold Beach on Oregon’s southern coast, recently sold for $7.75 million, ranking among the area’s most expensive residential sales in the past decade. Set in the quiet coastal town of Gold Beach, Oregon – home to just 4,000 residents – the custom luxury “log home” spans nearly 10,000 square feet and sits on 28 oceanfront acres. In a market where most luxury homes fall closer to the $1.5 to $2.5 million range, Elk Point stands apart. Soaring 35-foot ceilings, expansive walls of windows, and locally sourced river rock create a dramatic yet dynamic living environment – one that feels more like a private resort than a traditional coastal home. For Marie Curtis, Broker/Owner of REMAX Coast & Country, whose career includes the REMAX Lifetime Achievement and Platinum Club level honors, representing the seller and buyer presented a professional milestone as well as a natural fit. .custom_image_carousel_sec_outer .custom_image_carousel_sec_inner .card_slider_item .heading { font-family:Montserrat;font-weight:900;font-size:1.5625rem;line-height:1.875rem;letter-spacing:0.03em;color:var(–awb-custom_color_4); } .custom_image_carousel_sec_outer .custom_image_carousel_sec_inner .card_slider_item .content { font-family:Open Sans;font-weight:400;font-size:0.875rem;line-height:1.3125rem;letter-spacing:0.03em;color:var(–awb-custom_color_4); } The custom luxury “log home” sits on 28 oceanfront acres. Canadian timber, locally sourced river rock, and an absence of sheetrock were deliberate choices, ensuring the home was rooted in both look and feel. That same level of care carried through to how the property was marketed. “With a listing like this, you have to reach beyond the local market – nationwide and international – and that’s where REMAX comes into play,” Curtis said. “Global brand recognition and credibility matter at this level.” Curtis has been with the REMAX brand her entire real estate career, leveraging the brand’s name recognition, resources and network to grow a high-performing business. For this particular seller – who was not a referral or repeat client – those factors were key. “He did his homework,” Curtis explained. “He wanted someone local with a strong sales track record, deep community connections, and national and international reach. That combination mattered, and I met that criteria.” Power of the Tools While Elk Point’s architectural beauty is undeniable, Curtis recognized that securing the right buyer would be a strategic journey built on patience and precision. The seller understood this as well, noting that through his experience in architectural design and luxury residential sales, his uniquely crafted properties are often buyer-specific and require the right alignment. When it comes to being a real estate agent and being on the precipice of playing on golf’s most revered course, Brandon Holtz can’t help but find similarities. Holtz, a REMAX agent with REMAX Rising in Bloomington, Illinois, said there are parallels to selling real estate and prepping to play in this year’s tournament at Augusta National (April 9-12). “Time management,” he said. “You have to really be able to adjust your schedule to play golf and make sure you’re serving your clients. You have to be able to handle adversity. Golf has a lot of ups and downs and in a transaction, there can be good and bad. You have to be able to adapt to your clients’ needs, and you have to be able to adapt on the course and different shots.” Holtz has managed both beautifully. Brandon Holtz, Agent at REMAX Rising in Bloomington, ILThe former Division I basketball player at Illinois State University, won the 44th U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship at Troon Country Club in Arizona late last year. And just before leaving for Augusta, Georgia, in early April, he sold two houses and won another listing. “It’s been chaos,” said Holtz, who will have the REMAX logo on his bag and some apparel. “It’s been tough logistically. But you do whatever you have to do.” Brandon Holtz Branded Golf BagHoltz’s win at the U.S. Mid-Amateur in September 2025, earned him an invitation to Augusta this year, as well as an exemption in this year’s U.S. Open – two of golf’s majors and arguably the two most prestigious tournaments in the world. “It’s still all pretty surreal,” Holtz said. “As I get closer to being down there, I get more excited. When I won, I don’t think I understood the magnitude of all of this. It was definitely unexpected and new to me. It’s honestly been overwhelming at times but a good overwhelming. I’m not complaining about anything.” In between showing properties and writing contracts, Holtz has had to balance prepping for the tournament and running his business. The Illinois weather hasn’t been great for golf prep, so he’s taken multiple trips down to Florida and Georgia to practice. Holtz said balancing both has taught him to take advantage when things are going well. Something he showed at the Mid-Amateur championship. Holtz advanced through 72 holes of stroke play to the 64-man match play bracket. He won his first two matches fairly easily, before finding himself three holes down with five to play in his quarterfinal match. “Then I found something,” he said. He certainly did. Holtz birdied the last five holes to push the quarterfinal to a playoff, where he birdied the first hole to win. In the semifinals he birdied the first three holes – making that nine birdies in a row – to advance to the finals. Holtz beat Jeg Coughlin III 3 and 2 in the finals to win. All told in his last three matches of the U.S. Mid-Amateur, Holtz had 21 birdies. Now he’ll head to Augusta, where he said the goal is to play the best he can. He hopes to make it through the first two days and make the cut and hopefully be the low amateur. It will also be a full-circle moment. Twenty years ago, his dad Jeff won two badges to the tournament. The two have been going every year as spectators. Now, with his dad as his caddie, Holtz will get to play. “We’ve been out there so many times,” Holtz said. “We’ve always said, ‘What’s behind that rope or in that building?’ Now
