Global REMAX Week Highlights Impact of the Global REMAX Network, Says REMAX SVP

With more than 145,000 agents in nearly 9,000 offices across more than 110 countries and territories, REMAX already makes a huge impact felt across the world daily. But during Global REMAX Week, REMAX affiliates come together to serve their communities in an especially meaningful way: by donating their time, energy and resources through community service.

Now in its fifth year, the 2025 Global REMAX Week is October 5-11, and REMAX affiliates from around the globe are invited to participate in the weeklong service initiative.

“Global REMAX Week makes a huge impact in communities around the world,” says Shawna Gilbert, REMAX Senior Vice President of Global & Commercial. “Seeing the good that REMAX affiliates put back into the world showcases the commitment they have to building and supporting their neighborhoods and beyond.”

In 2020 at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Gilbert and her team noticed the REMAX network’s desire to support one another during difficult times. They were inspired to create Global REMAX Day, which quickly evolved into Global REMAX Week. The event was an opportunity for members of the network to make a difference in their local communities all at once.

“We really wanted to see what a global network could do,” Gilbert says. “We wanted to turn on the power of the network. Could we cover the globe in good? The answer, of course, is yes.”

With affiliates from over 40 countries participating in the inaugural day, the team got a glimpse into the global impact of the REMAX network. The event has only continued to grow and draw in participants from all corners of the globe.

In the past, REMAX affiliates have organized gala fundraisers, golf tournaments, beach clean ups and blood drives; they’ve volunteered at animal shelters and food banks; and they’ve donated to local schools and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals among other things. Opportunities for getting involved are unlimited.

“When you think of entrepreneurs and the way they conduct their business, they are stewards of their communities,” Gilbert says. “Global REMAX Week gives REMAX affiliates another avenue for giving back alongside the REMAX brand and fellow affiliates but also for showcasing the fact that REMAX extends well past their own community and borders.”

REMAX affiliates who participate in Global REMAX Week are encouraged to share their efforts on social media with the hashtag #GlobalREMAXWeek.

“REMAX is a global brand that prioritizes giving back,” Gilbert says. “We look forward to seeing the impact on local communities during Global REMAX Week this year.”
