REMAX Morocco Opens in Casablanca, Real Estate Market Heats Up

“I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.” The iconic final line from the film Casablanca sets the stage for the newest REMAX® global expansion. Entrepreneurs Rachida Khalil and Balil Dabri have acquired the master franchise rights for REMAX Morocco, bringing the brand’s proven model to one of North Africa’s most dynamic real estate markets.

As co-owners of a transportation and logistics company, Khalil and Dabri were living in France when they began searching for a business opportunity that would allow them to settle permanently in Morocco.

“One day, we noticed a REMAX sign on a house for sale, which sparked our curiosity,” they shared. “After some research, we discovered that it was a franchise perfectly suited to the Moroccan market, with particularly strong potential. As we delved deeper, we realized that this opportunity matched exactly the life project we had been searching for.”

A Market on the Rise

According to Khalil and Dabri, Morocco’s real estate sector is experiencing rapid growth, fueled by construction and urban development projects. The upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in 2026 and the 2030 World Cup are accelerating both public and private investment. The country’s reputation as a leading tourist destination is also attracting foreign investors.
